ABOUT MICHAEL RUTTLE

Michael Ruttle

Michael Ruttle is an award-winning immigration attorney who speak multiple languages in pursuit of giving his clients the utmost attention and care. Michael graduated summa cum laude (top 5%) from Whittier Law School in 2012, with a concentration in International & Comparative law.

 

In law school, he served as President of the Moot Court Honors Board, and was a member of the Whittier Law Review. Michael also participated in the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Portland, Oregon, where he was recognized as one of the top oral advocates. Michael graduated with a B.A. from California State University, Long Beach in 2006.

Prior to law school, Michael spent years living and working abroad. In Seville, Spain, Michael worked as a translator/interpreter where he worked with major international organizations, including NATO. In Costa Rica, Michael continued working as an interpreter, but also worked as a teacher and consultant to employers doing business with U.S. corporations.

Currently, Michael serves his clients on a variety of immigration issues including: green card applications, temporary visas, naturalization, and many more. He is licensed to practice in all California courts, and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association – International Law Section, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association ("AILA")

Michael lives with his wife and two kids in Los Angeles County’s beautiful “South Bay” where they both enjoy surfing, martial arts, outdoor activities, and playing music. A linguist at heart, Michael speaks fluent Spanish, is conversant in Portuguese, and currently studying Czech and Mandarin Chinese. Contact me at my email michael@ruttlelaw.com
